George Konstanzos

Mr. George Konstantzos received his Bachelor Degree in Environmental Engineering from the Technical University of Crete, Chania, Greece in 2005, He also holds an MSc in Environmental Technology and Management (2007) from Imperial College, London, UK, while since 2011 is a PhD candidate at National University of Athens. Furthermore, he is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TCG), as well as a fellow of the Hellenic Solid Waste Management Association (HSWMA).

Mr. Konstantzos has a wide range of consulting experience and specializes in Waste Management Planning and Decision-Making, Environmental Impact Assessments, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), Carbon Footprint Assessment (CFA) and Pollution Management. His research and professional interests include development of service-specific tailored tools and models in order to determine and quantify GHG emissions from waste management, transportation etc. Furthermore, he has experience in running and coordinating National and EU funded and co-funded projects such as FP7, Life+, Intelligent Energy etc.
